Week 5 - Showcase

Overview

Week 5 allows students to synthesize the previous four weeks of the unit to prepare for a Showcase of Learning.  This summative multimodal presentation will display how students are becoming responsible citizens, and how one person can make a difference. Students will be provided with the requirements for the final summative display of learning, and will co-create a rubric with the teacher to determine assessment criteria. Students will have diverse options to display their learning.  Sufficient time will be provided for continued research.  Various forms of technology will support and enhance their presentations.  Formative assessment by the teacher and peers will allow for feedback to refine presentations prior to the final Showcase.

Essential Question
